More than a decade of hands-on experience mediating and facilitating the resolution of commercial disputes in sectors marked by volatility, significant financial exposure and economic actors with substantial bargaining power. The case portfolio reflects:
- Pharmaceutical sector: mediations in settings with complex regulation, multi-jurisdictional implications and stakeholders with diverging interests (manufacturers, distributors, regulatory bodies)
- Real estate and property development: resolving disputes between developers, institutional investors, service providers and financiers, with considerable sums at stake
- Shareholder disputes and corporate governance: sensitive negotiations on capital reorganisations, partner exits and operational restructuring
The methodology rests on the recognition that, in commercial settings, resolving a dispute must serve not only the end of the immediate conflict but also the building of a durable platform for cooperation between the parties, protecting and growing the value of their commercial relationships over the medium and long term.
Today the office works with several authorised mediators with complementary specialisations — from commercial and real-estate disputes to criminal cases subject to prior complaint. Our practice covers mediation and facilitation, in Romanian and English, with particular attention to clients in the diaspora; sessions can take place at the office or online.

How we work
Genuine impartiality
We do not accept cases where we have any interest in, or connection to, one of the parties. Both sides must feel, at every moment, that the table is level — otherwise mediation has no chance.
Clarity above all
No legal jargon and no unrealistic promises. We tell you from the first conversation — the free information session — whether mediation makes sense for your case and how long it might take; we communicate the fee after studying and assessing the case file.
Discretion
Confidentiality is not just a legal duty, it is how we work. What is discussed in mediation stays, under the conditions set by law, in mediation — including the fact that it took place, if the parties so wish.
A mediation office built on real negotiation experience
Behind every successful mediation stands negotiation experience. Anca Voican, the founder of the office — a Public Administration graduate (SNSPA), authorised as a mediator by the Romanian Mediation Council in 2013 and a certified trainer — built over twenty years of negotiation experience in banking (administering corporate loans) and in real estate: brokerage, leading a residential department, developing and selling property projects. That practical experience makes the difference most in commercial and real-estate disputes and in property division.
Today the office works with several authorised mediators with complementary specialisations — including a mediator specialised in criminal cases subject to prior complaint. We work in Romanian and English, at the office in Bucharest or by videoconference, with individuals, families, small businesses, companies and professionals; a significant part of our practice serves Romanian clients living abroad, for whom online mediation eliminates trips back home.
